Welcome to Katzens Maine Coon Cattery! We are located by Wake Forest, NC.
Our Cattery is a labor of Love and Admiration for the wonderful breed we call the "Gentle Giants".
Every cat that lives with us is a part of our family, they are never caged! We breed healthy Coonies with lovely temperaments and very good size and type for show, or lovely "Couch Potatoes".
Our Breeding goals are:
1) Low inbreeding amount (COI). Cats that have a high COI, are prone to health problems, and lack a healthy immune system. We are very strict about this and will not breed a Maine Coon with a COI of 9% or higher.

2) Sweet Disposition. We provide great opportunity for socialization, as our kittens are raised underfoot.
3) The Look. Strikingly beautiful but solid, large robust cat-- is what Katzen strives for.
